Aarón, an Agricultural Economist and former member of the Instituto del Café de Costa Rica, brings a rare blend of academic training and practical expertise to his family’s 20‑hectare farm. Together with his cousin Adrian, he is committed to producing coffees of exceptional quality, applying scientific rigor and meticulous farm management to every stage of production. Their advanced degrees have allowed them to influence the broader Costa Rican coffee sector—from advising the President of Costa Rica on agricultural policy to conducting Rainforest Alliance audits that shape national sustainability standards. This microlot reflects that same level of precision, care, and forward‑thinking approach. We’re pleased to offer this honey‑processed lot from their farm this year, a coffee with confectionary aromatics, citrus brightness, and a nostalgic sweetness reminiscent of classic Costa Rican profiles.
